Ambers was founded by the Amber family, members of Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak (Gaza Envelope), under T.V. Initiatives and Businesses Nir Yitzhak.
Nir Yitzhak is a kibbutz in the northwestern Negev, located between the Eshkol and Shalom regions. The kibbutz is named after Yitzhak Sadeh, one of the founders of the Palmach.
The kibbutz has approximately 370 members (530 people). The main sectors of the kibbutz include agricultural crops: potatoes, carrots, peanuts, bulbs, radishes, and wheat, as well as a dairy farm and poultry.
